I love how easily the car seat installed in my car. We are still rear facing so I love the higher RF weight limit!

Ordered this seat because we can rearface it for up to 45lbs. I've determined rearfacing is safer than forward facing because your child can become internally decapitated in an accident if forward facing so in order to ensure my two year old was safe I bought this seat.

I read a lot of reviews on carseats and finally decided to purchase this one. I have not been disappointed! The seat is heavy, but durable. It's not a seat you want to be switching from car to car, though. I love that it allows me to keep my son rear-facing up to 45 lbs. It is slim, so it takes up less space in the backseat of our Corolla. However, we still have to move the passenger seat up for space. This will only be a problem until we switch it to forward facing. The fabric is soft with memory foam for the cushion. It is also easy to clean. The strap covers have Velcro, so they can easily be removed for cleaning. The seat is also easy to get my son in and safely strapped. I am very impressed with its construction, safety, and style. I would definitely buy another one.

I am 100% satisfied with this car seat. It amazes me that people would want to buy multiple car seats while their child grows, when this one works right from birth and you never need to replace this one.

Our one year old son is safely and comfortably happy with his new car seat -- My family will definitely purchase another Radian 80SL for his twin brother.

We bought this car seat because of its safety features and because so many reviews listed it as being nice and compact. Yes, it is relatively narrow. However, when put in the rear-facing position in the back seat, it still requires us to push up the front seat of our Subaru Outback so far that only I can sit in that front seat, and not very comfortably (and I'm a very petite, 100-pound gal!). It also won't fit forward-facing in the back seat of my husband's truck, because it needs to be at an angle and the truck back is straight vertical. Lesson learned-- if you can, avoid buying car seats without trying them out in your car first! While the seat is definitely SAFE, it's also very heavy and quite complicated-- not easy to move from one vehicle to another!

Our 8 month old daughter grew faster than our other 2. We wanted to get a car seat that would not only work rear-facing now, but also work when she's ready to be forward facing in a few months. The Radian 80SL is awesome! It has enough room for her to fit well, but not too much. It's narrow so it fits next to our other daughter's seat without being too wide! It was easy to install and is easy to operate. We love it and so does our daughter! I highly recommend it. The pink flower material was precious too!

We got this car seat as a gift for our son when he was about 9 months old. We loved it so much that we bought a second one for our other car. It is so safe and sturdy. It is a little bit difficult to tighten the straps in the rear facing position but it works perfectly now that he is forward facing. I wouldn't buy any other car seat. Website was also terrific. Shipping was super fast and I got a great deal on it!!!!!

We absolutely love our Radian! It is the perfect size for our Nissan Xterra...and with planning ahead, it will be great to fit another carseat in next too! (Even 2 more if need be!) Our daughter loves it, too; she seems very comfortable and loves that now she can see outside. I really like the "Sport" fabric, it goes along well with our "rugged" Xterra!

On April 9, 2010:
This seat came quickly and in great condition. It was pretty easy to install, one of our cars does not have the LATCH so getting the seatbelt through the carseat is pretty tight. The seat is heavy, as others have remarked. We haven't gone on really long car trips yet. The most is under an hour. Our daughter has fallen asleep and seems comfortable, she is 18 months. The one problem is tightening the front harness. The directions say to pull down to tighten the harness but it is hard to pull. You can also pull up and this will act like a ratchet which makes it a little easier. All in all it is a good carseat. We have two daughters now and if we have a third it will be nice to get 3 across the row.

We have not used the car seat yet, but after carefull review of all available car seats I think this one is best. This site had the best price also!

I bought this carseat for my 5th child and wish that I had known about it with my first. My child is 4 and 1/2 years and I needed a seat to put in the middle with no shoulder strap. This seat strapped easily into the car (without LATCH) and will last until my child is 80 pounds. I will recommend this to anyone buying a convertible carseat as I have bought many different kinds in the last 10 years.

Love the carseat so much. This is the second one we're buying for our other car. Got the same model two years ago for my first born it works really well except a bit long for my G35. Never travel with it though. It does appear to be a bit heavy to be carried around on a shoulder.

We have two boys and a third on the way. We were trying to avoid buying a new car, so after some research, I found that these car seats would fit three across in an XTerra. We bought two, hoping we could fit the baby carrier in the other space, and it worked like a charm!! These seats are heavy, sturdy, perfectly proportioned, easy to put in (but hard to take out!), fold up nicely, look nice and are so comfy. In fact, we had them in the living room for a few days before we could install them, and they sat on their chairs instead of the sofa. :) The only reason I'm not rating durability is because we JUST got them, so I honestly don't know, but just by how they feel, I'm sure they'll last.

This seat is awesome, my daughter loves it and it was easy to install. I'm am so pleased! I was a little hesitant to order from a site that I'd never done business with before, but could not pass up the great price on this seat and could not be happier with the service I received. I order the seat on a Sat., got immediate email confirmation and shipping info and received the seat the follow Tues and that was FREE shipping!! Will definitely be buying here again :)

We bought a Radian 80 for my 3-year-old when he passed the 30 pound mark. At first, I bought a booster seat, but after reading all the bad publicity about safety, I returned it. I read great things about the Radian - its 5 point restraint and small size were the big draw. We bought one at full price and have not had a single regret. When I saw these on sale with free shipping, we bought two more for the other car and 18-month-old. On our other seats, the straps are always getting twisted, or won't tighten properly. I've never had that problem with the Radian. I could easily fit 3 of these seats in the backseat, or 2 seats and an adult in the middle. One note, the Radian 80 comes with padding but the 65 did not. Fortunately I ordered one of each, and the bigger kid doesn't like/use the padding. They also don't have cup holders and there is no place to attach one, but that's not a huge problem since most cars have so many anyway. I love that the kids can climb in by themselves with the low profile sides, and even buckle, but not unbuckle, themselves. I recommend it to anyone who asks!
